New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- Riding of the back of a superb batting disapply by captain KL Rahul who scored 132 not out (69b, 14x4, 7x6,), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) gave a 97-run mauling to Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Match no 6 of the IPL played at Dubai. RCB won the toss and Kohli elected to field first. Agarwal (26, 20b, 4x4) added 57 for the first wicket before Agarwal was bowled by Chahal in the 7th over, Pooran (17) and Nair (15) gave decent support but it was a KL Rahul show all the way as he also completed 2000 runs in IPL, becoming the fastest Indian to do so. KXIP finished with 206/3. Rahul got two reprieves in the space of two overs and he made RCB pay for those missed chances as KXIP scored 49 runs in the last two overs.
