New Delhi, July 27 -- As External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar who was to attend the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Foreign Minister's meeting in Rio De Janeiro on Friday, due to last minute cancellation of plans could not manage to visit Brazil, VK Singh, Minister of State for Road, Transport and Highways attended the meeting.
Calling out for stronger actions against terrorism and economic offenders and fugitives, the Minister said, "We at BRICS need to continue to work together against economic offenders and fugitives since this is a serious threat to world economic stability... BRICS must call upon all states to prevent financing of terrorist networks and terrorist actions from their territories."
