New Delhi, April 12 -- On March 27, 2021, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif signed a pending 25-year strategic co-operation agreement. The agreement, dubbed as the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, covers a variety of economic activities from oil and mining to promoting industrial activities in Iran, as well as transportation and agricultural collaborations, according to the report. The deal also supports tourism and cultural exchanges. It comes on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iran.
