Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has announced a restructuring initiative to reorganise its corporate framework. The company currently operates through four entities: India Yamaha Motor (IYM), Yamaha Motor India Sales (YMIS), Yamaha Motor Research & Development India (YMRI), and Yamaha Motor India (YMI). Under the plan, YMIS and YMI will consolidate into IYM.

The transition brings sales, marketing, finance, administrationand manufacturing capabilities under one structure. YMRI will remain an independent entity focused on engineering and mobility solutions. The restructuring aims to simplify operations, strengthen governance, and remove redundancies across the organisation.
