New Delhi, Oct. 16 -- Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath shared that his X (formerly Twitter) account was breached due to a phishing email. Despite having 2FA, attackers accessed a single session to post scam links, highlighting the need for holistic cybersecurity measures that address human error alongside technical solutions.

In a post on the social media platform X, Kamath said, "So, my personal Twitter account was compromised yesterday because I fell for a phishing e-mail early in the morning while at home when browsing on my personal device."
