Once you paste it, you assume it is gone. On Windows, not quite. Clipboard history can quietly keep a list of what you copied, which is brilliant for productivity and awkward for privacy. If you share a PC at home or jump into a screen share at work, that panel of past snippets can surface at the worst moment.
