New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Nagma Mohamed Mallick, a 1991-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, presently Ambassador of India to Japan, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Marshall Islands, with residence in Tokyo, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Monday.
Nagma Mohamed Mallick is expected to take up the assignment shortly, the ministry said in a statement. The Marshall Islands is an island nation located in the central Pacific Ocean, situated within the Micronesia region roughly halfway between Hawaii and Australia.
