New Delhi, Feb. 9 -- Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Mohan Singh Bisht, who contested from Mustafabad constituency, won by a massive margin of 17,578 votes. The 67-year-old leader emerged victorious by amassing a total of 85,215 votes in Delhi assembly polls from Mustafabad seat that was worst hit during the 2020 Delhi riots in which at least 53 people lost their lives.

In the Delhi assembly elections, BJP won 48 seats, AAP secured 22 seats, while the Congress did not open its account for the third consecutive time.
