New Delhi, March 31 -- Mumbai Indians handed a debut cap to rookie Ashwani Kumar against Kolkata Knight Riders in their first home game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Monday at the Wankhede Stadium. In the process, Ashwani Kumar became the second youngster to be handed Mumbai Indians' debut cap in three matches they have played so far after Kerala spinner Vignesh Puthur.
