New Delhi, Feb. 23 -- Clone Robotics has introduced what it claims to be the "world's first bipedal musculoskeletal android." Named Protoclone, the humanoid robot exhibits strikingly human-like movements using synthetic muscles, making it a significant development in the field of robotics.
Clone Robotics released a video on X on February 19 showcasing Protoclone's capabilities. The footage, which has since amassed over 4.3 lakh views as of February 22, shows the robot suspended from the ceiling with its limbs twitching and kicking. The display marks a step toward the company's goal of developing humanoid robots for household assistance.
