New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- Social media has been abuzz with discussions on Jeffrey Epstein after the US Department of Justice recently released more than 3 million pages of documents, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos related to the case. The release has also fuelled online conspiracy theories, including unsubstantiated claims that the convicted child sex offender faked his death and is still alive.

Official records, however, state that Jeffrey Epstein was found hanging in his jail cell in August 2019, and his death was ruled a suicide.

Amid the renewed speculation, a photograph purportedly showing Epstein walking through the streets of Israel has gone viral.
