New Delhi, Dec. 22 -- US stock indices gained at the start of a holiday-shortened week on Monday as technology stocks continued to ‌rebound from last ​week's selloff.

At the open, the ⁠Dow Jones Industrial ⁠Average rose 0.45%, ‌the S&P 500 gained 0.58% ​and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.59%.

Investors awaited key economic data later this ​week.
