New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Vodafone Idea share price jumped over 9% on Monday after the Supreme Court allowed the Central government to reconsider the issue of reassessment of the telecom operator's adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. Vodafone Idea shares rallied as much as 9.45% to Rs.10.53 apiece on the BSE after the SC ruling.

The apex court observed that the matter falls within the Union's policy domain. Supreme Court said that it sees no impediment in Centre reconsidering issue and taking an appropriate call.

In a major relief to the beleaguered telecom company, Supreme Court said that there was no reason why center should be prevented from reconsidering the issue.
