New Delhi, April 26 -- One of the prominent survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse, Virginia Giuffre, died by suicide aged 41 in Western Australia, her family said. Giuffre was among the most vocal accusers of convicted sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and his former partner, Ghislaine Maxwell. She had claimed they trafficked her to Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, when she was 17, an allegation he has strongly refused. Internet users have demanded justice and said her "courage will not be forgotten".
Relatives stated in a statement on Friday that she had been a "fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse", and that the "toll of abuse... became unbearable. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abus...
