New Delhi, May 14 -- The release of actor Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming film Kingdom has been delayed owing to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. The film was initially slated to release in theatres on May 30.

Kingdom will now release on July 4.

On Wednesday, Vijay took to his X account, formerly Twitter and dropped a behind-the-scenes picture with director Gowtham Tinnanuri. It also came with a long note, confirming the new release date.
