New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- Democrats have delivered a stunning performance in the US elections, the results of which are being announced today. This was the first major Election Day in the US since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.

Democrat Zohran Mamdani has won the New York City Mayoral Race, defeating US President Donald Trump-backed candidate Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa. Mamdani is poised to become the first South Asian and first Muslim mayor of New York City.
