New Delhi, Dec. 2 -- Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions in the country saw a 22% year-on-year increase in volume, hitting Rs.26.32 lakh crore in November. In terms of numbers, UPI transactions touched 20.47 billion, a 32% year-on-year increase.
On a daily basis, there were 682 million transactions, with an average daily transaction amount of Rs.87,721 crore, according to National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) data for November.
In terms of transaction amount and number of transactions, UPI saw an increase of 16% and 25%, respectively, in November. These numbers stood at Rs.27.28 lakh crore (amount) and 20.70 billion (count) in October.
