New Delhi, July 9 -- US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (July 9) issued a fresh round of tariff letters targeting six countries, signaling a renewed push in his trade-first foreign policy.

According to official notices posted on Truth Social by the US President, new import tariffs will take effect on August 1, impacting Algeria, Brunei, Iraq, Libya, Moldova, and the Philippines.

Country-wise breakdown of tariffs:

Algeria: 30%

Brunei: 25%

Iraq: 30%

Libya: 30%

Moldova: 25%

Philippines: 25%
