New Delhi, Aug. 5 -- US President Donald Trump recently claimed that the monthly jobs report prepared by the Bureau of Labour Statistics (BLS) is inaccurate, after data revealed weaker employment numbers. He fired Dr Erika McEntarfer, the commissioner of the body.

"In my opinion, today's Jobs Numbers were RIGGED in order to make the Republicans, and ME, look bad," Trump said on Truth Social.

He also asserted that McEntarfer "had the biggest miscalculations in over 50 years."
