New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- President Donald Trump demanded the suspect responsible for fatally stabbing Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska be "awarded THE DEATH PENALTY" following the horrific incident on Charlotte's Lynx Blue Line.

The attack occurred on August 22 when 23-year-old Zarutska, who fled Ukraine in 2022 after the Russian invasion, was repeatedly stabbed by 34-year-old DeCarlos Brown Jr. while riding home from work.

"The ANIMAL who so violently killed the beautiful young lady from Ukraine, who came to America searching for peace and safety, should be given a 'Quick' (there is no doubt!) Trial, and only awarded THE DEATH PENALTY. There can be no other option!!!" Trump wrote on social media.
