New Delhi, Nov. 28 -- The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade lit up the New York City skies on Thursday with balloons of Buzz Lightyear and Pac-Man, while floats featuring Labubu and Lego made their way along the streets.
The parade began on Manhattan's Upper West Side and concluded at Macy's flagship store in Herald Square on 34th Street, showcasing dozens of balloons, floats, clown groups, and marching bands, according to AP. Although temperatures were in the 40s, gusty winds of 25-30 mph (40-48 kph) made the day feel colder, according to David Stark, a meteorologist with the Natio.
Officials closely monitored the weather, as city regulations prohibit Macy's from flying full-size balloons if sustained winds exceed 23 mph (37 kph) or gusts...
