New Delhi, July 10 -- Tesla will hold its annual shareholder meeting on November 6 after major investors demanded action. The electric car company announced the date just one day after over 20 shareholders complained about the unusual delay. Under Texas law (where Tesla is based), companies must hold meetings within 13 months if investors request it.The last meeting was in June 2024, making this gathering three months late, a rare delay for big U.S. companies. Tesla stock has crashed 27% this year, partly because CEO Elon Musk has been working with President Trump instead of focusing on Tesla's business problems and rising competition.
