New Delhi, July 25 -- Swiggy Ltd has restructured its board of directors following its public listing last year. The company has appointed Faraz Khalid, CEO of e-commerce platform Noon, as an independent director, pending shareholder approval.
Two early investor nominees-Sumer Juneja of SoftBank and Anand Daniel of Accel-have also stepped down as non-executive, non-independent directors, according to a regulatory filing on Friday. Both firms were among Swiggy's earliest and most prominent backers.
This shift marks a continued move toward a more independent board structure, in line with corporate governance norms for listed companies.
