New Delhi, Dec. 4 -- Indian equity indices ended flat on Wednesday after a volatile session. The Sensex closed at 85,106.81, down 31.46 points or 0.04%, while the Nifty finished at 25,986.00, down 46.20 points or 0.18%. Market breadth was negative, with about 1,436 gainers, 2,553 losers and 144 unchanged.
