Stock market crash, Feb. 12 -- The Indian stock market extended its fall for the sixth consecutive session on Wednesday, with both the benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, slipping over a percent each. The recent weakness in domestic equities comes amid immense selling pressure across the board.
The Sensex declined over 800 points, while the Nifty 50 breached the 23,000 level on February 12. In the last one month period, the BSE Sensex has dropped 1.91%, while the Nifty 50 has fallen 1.8%.
