New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced customized credit cards for micro enterprises registered on the Udyam portal in her recent budget speech.
This step was taken with the objective of strengthening India's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. These cards will come with a credit limit of Rs.5 lakh each.
These cards protect the business interests of small business owners by helping them manage a clear separation between personal and business finances.
Several banks in India offer credit cards specifically designed for SMEs, including SBI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Kotak, Standard Chartered, and IndusInd Bank.
