Silver rate today, Jan. 14 -- The white metal continues its rallying streak, surging as much as 4% on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, January 14, fueled by rising geopolitical tensions and growing safe-haven demand, marking a strong start to 2026 following last year's sharp rallies.

MCX Silver prices rose by Rs.10,800 to Rs.2,86,100 per kg in the early morning session on January 14.

Meanwhile, on the international front, Silver prices soared past $89 per ounce, hitting a record high. The white metal outperformed gold last year, climbing nearly 150% amid an October short squeeze and ongoing supply constraints in London.
