Silver rate today, Jan. 12 -- The white metal jumped nearly 3.87%, to hit fresh record high, on Monday, January 12, driven by gains in the international front, led by US dollar weakened following threats from the US Justice Department to criminally indict the Federal Reserve, with ongoing geopolitical strains fueled by escalating protests in Iran.
Silver prices on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged by Rs.10,109 to Rs.2,62,834 per kg in early morning session on Monday, as compared to previous close of Rs.2,52,725 level.
