New Delhi, May 20 -- The Indian Test team recently lost their two batting greats after Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced their retirement from the longest format of the game.
Sharma, 38, was the captain of the team when he announced his decision and he had represented India in 67 Tests and scored 4,301 runs.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Kohli called time on his illustrious red-ball career after 123 Tests and 9,230 runs.
The decision of the duo shocked the cricketing world as many believe they still have enough cricket left in them.
Sharma and Kohli's retirements has created a huge leadership vaccum at a critical time as India prepares to embark on a five-match Test series in England, starting June 20.
