New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- RG Kar rape case victim's parents were injured in police action, with the young doctor's mother 'hit on her head,' 'wrists broken' and BJP MLAs were lathi-charged as they marched to the Bengal Secretariat, Nabanna in Kolkata, on Saturday, August 9.

"...The police broke my wrist in Dharmatala. They hit me on the head. I want to go to Nabanna. Why was my daughter killed? When my daughter was killed, why didn't the Police become active? Our movement will continue. We will not back down from the movement," the RG Kar rape, murder victim's mother told news wire ANI.
