New Delhi, March 21 -- Shares of RailTel Corporation of India jumped 8 percent on Friday after the company announced that it had secured a Rs.16.8 crore work order from the Ministry of Defence. The project involves laying Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) and is expected to be completed by March 2026. The latest order adds to RailTel's growing portfolio of government contracts, boosting investor confidence.
