New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd (ONGC) expects a major recovery in crude oil output from the Mumbai High field within the next 13-14 months, as it works with UK-based energy giant bp on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) efforts
Arun Kumar Singh, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of ONGC, told reporters on Friday that a study is currently underway for the planned EOR.
"It has been only four months. This partnership started in April (2025). One thing you can say is that green shoots are good. All I can say is it's good. We are very optimistic.
