New Delhi, June 25 -- Global crude oil prices edged higher on Wednesday morning, after a sharp decline in the previous two sessions. The uptick comes as markets closely monitor the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which remains uncertain after initial violations, experts said.
Around 8:15 am, the August contract of Brent on the Intercontinental Exchange was trading at $68.12 per barrel, higher by 1.37% from its previous close. Similarly, the August contract of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) on the NYMEX rose 1.51% to $65.34 a barrel.
