Mumbai, March 27 -- US President Donald Trump's order to pause the disbursement of funds under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a marquee clean energy promotion programme signed into law in 2022, will not impact the margins of India's leading solar module maker, Waaree Energies Ltd, a top executive said.

Around half of Waaree's Rs.50,000 crore order book is from US-based clients.

"Because of the business model that we have, the certainty of the order book that we have, our margins will not be negatively impacted because of the IRA pause," said Amit Paithankar, chief executive of Waaree Energies.
