New Delhi, April 26 -- Bengaluru and the ever growing dispute dispute over Kannada, have once again become the talk of the town. A recent job posting by a housing finance company in the city's Jayanagar area has sparked backlash among Kannadigas for prioritising proficiency in English, Tamil, and Telugu for contact centre executive roles-while omitting Kannada, the official and regional language of Karnataka.

While many users expressed outrage over the omission of Kannada, several others came up with explanations about the company's preferences.
