New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Mumbai is on India Meteorological Department's (IMD) red alert for the second consecutive day as rains continue to pound the national capital. Notably, North Goa, South Goa, Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Mumbai City, Suburban Mumbai, Palghar Sindhudurg and Thane districts are on flash flood risk till 5:30 PM today.

Social media strongly reacted to Mumbai rains that have wreaked havoc over the past few days.
