New Delhi, Jan. 1 -- Apollo Micro System share price rose as much as 2.95% to Rs.279.55 apiece in Thursday's trading session (January 1) after its subsidiary, Apollo Defence Industries, entered into a contract worth Rs.150 crore with a private company.

"This is to inform you that Apollo Defense Industries Private Limited, a subsidiary unit of Apollo Micro Systems Ltd, in its ordinary course of business, has entered into an Agreement with a Private Company for execution of a contract worth INR 1500 Million," the company said in the filing.
