New Delhi, July 23 -- Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) on July 23, Wednesday, faced technical glitch soon after the market opened, due to which the commodity trading on bourse was halted.
The trading has been resumed after after being halted for more than an hour.
"Market has started for trading," a terse update on MCX website said.
The earlier announcement from MCX said that market was expected to resume at 9:45 AM. However, the trading did not resume at the said time.
The next update from the exchange said that the commodity markets were expected to open at 10:10 AM.
MCX has not disclosed the reason for the disruption in trading.
