New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- London's Heathrow Airport reopened Terminal 4 on Monday evening after a temporary evacuation due to what authorities described as a "possible hazardous materials incident." The terminal, which serves both European and long-haul flights, was shut while specialist crews from the London Fire Brigade conducted an assessment.
In an update, Heathrow apologised for the disruption and reassured passengers that it was "doing everything we can" to ensure flights depart as planned. The airport confirmed that other terminals remained operational throughout the incident.
