Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- Beating market expectations, Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) posted its highest order inflows for any quarter in October-December 2025, as a revival in domestic private sector capital expenditure, alongside continued strength in international orders drove a surge in new project awards.

India's largest engineering and construction firm secured fresh orders worth Rs.1.36 trillion during the quarter, up 17% year-on-year (y-o-y), taking its total order book to a record Rs.7.33 trillion at the end of Q3-the first time it has crossed the Rs.7 trillion mark.
