New Delhi, March 17 -- Princess Kate Middleton made a celebrated return to the Irish Guards' St. Patrick's Day Parade in London, marking her first public appearance at the event after missing the event last year due to cancer diagnosis. The Princess of Wales, who serves as the honorary colonel of the regiment, was warmly welcomed as she joined the soldiers at Wellington Barracks.
The absence of Kate Middleton at last year's St. Patrick's Day parade was due to her recovery from an abdominal surgery in January 2023. Later that year, she revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer following the operation. After undergoing chemotherapy treatment, the Princess announced earlier this year that she is now in remission.
