New Delhi, March 10 -- Kashmir fashion show is in the limelight after it faced backlash for featuring obscene dresses during the holy month of Ramadan. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the event and sought a report within 24 hours.
Criticising the timing of the fashion show, Omar Abdullah said that the event made a "complete disregard for local sensitivities during the holy month". The fashion show was conducted at the world-famous ski resort of Gulmarg. Local religious and political leaders alike denounced the fashion show hosted by designer duo Shivan and Narresh. The event on March 7 in Gulmarg marked the designers' fifteen years in business.
