New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- FBI Director Kash Patel uncovered thousands of sensitive documents related to the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation, according to multiple sources who spoke exclusively with Fox News Digital. The documents were found in multiple "burn bags" buried inside a previously undisclosed secure room at FBI headquarters.
Sources revealed the "burn bag" system is typically used to destroy highly classified materials. However, Patel's team discovered intact bags filled with documents that appear to date back to the FBI's controversial Crossfire Hurricane probe, which investigated alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
