New Delhi, Nov. 13 -- Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, which operates Domino's and other quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains in India and overseas, reported a nearly threefold year-on-year rise in profit in the September quarter, driven by strong operating performance and lower interest costs.

Its consolidated net profit jumped 192.5% year-on-year to Rs.194.6 crore on a revenue of Rs.2,340.2 crore, up 19.7% on-year. Its standalone (India) revenue stood at Rs.1,698.7 crore, up 15.8% on-year.

Its consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) rose 18.5% on-year with a margin of 13.9%. For the India business, Ebitda rose 15.9% with a margin of 19.4%.
