New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- As Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma continue to impress fans with their brilliant displays against South Africa, all Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises are gearing up for the mini-auction, scheduled for 16 December in Abu Dhabi. Unlike the mega auction, the IPL 2026 mini auction will be a one-day affair.

Although the official list has not been released yet, according to a Cricbuzz report, at least 40 players have registered for the IPL 2026 auction with a maximum base price of Rs.2 crore. Only two Indians fall into that bracket: Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi.
