New Delhi, May 27 -- A 10-month legal battle between two of the world's largest information technology (IT) services companies may be coming to a end, with a court in Dallas asking Cognizant and Infosys to get on a conference call with it to settle parts of their dispute.

In an order dated 23 May, United States magistrate judge David L Horan said, "In appropriate circumstances as described below, the court welcomes the parties' scheduling a telephone conference with the court before a non-dispositive pretrial discovery motion is filed."
