New Delhi, July 9 -- A Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Bhanuda village in Rajasthan's Churu district on Wednesday, in which both the pilots were killed.

Rescue teams were immediately rushed to the IAF jet crash site, and emergency protocols have been activated.

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation.

"An IAF Jaguar Trainer aircraft met with an accident during a routine training mission and crashed near Churu in Rajasthan, today. Both pilots sustained fatal injuries in the accident. No damage to any civil property has been reported," said Indian Air Force in a post on X.
