New Delhi, April 15 -- India's retail inflation hit a multi-year low along with food prices for March 2025, according to the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation data released on Tuesday, April 15.
The Retail Inflation data, based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) shows that the year-on-year (YoY) inflation rate was down to 3.34% as of March 2025, compared to 4.85% in the same period in the previous year.
The food inflation for the period also hit its lowest level since November 2021, at 2.69% for March 2025, compared to its levels of 8.52 per cent in the same period a year ago.
