India-EU trade deal, Jan. 27 -- The European Union on Tuesday said that over 90% EU goods exports to India will see a duty cut as part of the historic India-EU trade deal, saving the member nations up to 4 billion euros in duties on European products.
India and the European Union have finalised a long pending landmark trade deal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday.
According to a fact sheet released by the European union, the EU-India trade deal is expected to double EU exports to India.
Additionally, enhanced access to the Indian services market, particularly in financial services, maritime services, and other key sectors, will open new business opportunities and foster job creation.
