New Delhi, July 30 -- England suffered a huge blow on Wednesday as captain Ben Stokes was ruled out of the fifth and final Test against India at The Oval starting on July 31, due to shoulder injury. Ollie Pope will lead the side in Stokes' absence.
Besides Stokes, England will also miss the services of Liam Dawson, Brydon Carse and Jofra Archer from the fifth Test. While spinner Dawson, made a comeback in Manchester after eight years, the ongoing Test series was Archer's first in four years for England.
Meanwhile, England have made four changes to their side, bringing in Jacob Bethell, who will bat at No.6 along with bowlers Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton and Josh Tongue.
